Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Enteritidis (S. Enteritidis) was responsible for a worldwide pandemic during the 1980s and 1990s; however, changes in the dominant lineage before and after this event remain unknown. This study determined S. Enteritidis lineages before and after this pandemic event in Japan using multilocus sequence typing (MLST). Thirty S. Enteritidis strains were collected in Japan between 1973 and 2004, consisting of 27 human strains from individual episodes, a bovine strain, a liquid egg strain and an eggshell strain. Strains showed nine phage types and 17 pulsed-field profiles with pulsed-field gel electrophoresis. All strains had homologous type 11 sequences without any nucleotide differences in seven housekeeping genes. These MLST results suggest that S. Enteritidis with the diversities revealed by phage typing and pulsed-field profiling has a highly clonal population. Although type 11 S. Enteritidis may exhibit both pleiotropic surface structure and pulsed-field type variation, it is likely to be a stable lineage derived from an ancestor before the 1980s and/or 1990s pandemic in Japan. 相似文献

To investigate the bleaching mechanism, a lignincarbohydrate complex (LCC) model compound, a vinyl ether-type lignin model dimer, and a hexeneuronic acid model compound were treated with dilute sulfuric acid of different pHs. Beech kraft pulp and red pine kraft pulp were also treated with dilute sulfuric acid and then extracted with aqueous alkali. The amount of hexeneuronic acid degradation products in acid effluents and lignin dissolved in alkali effluents were determined. It was found that the benzyl ether-type LCC bond and the vinyl ether bond in lignin were effectively cleaved under the pH where sulfuric acid bleaching of kraft pulp was effective. Hexeneuronic acid group was also effectively degraded during sulfuric acid bleaching. In beech kraft pulp bleaching, both lignin removal and hexeneuronic acid removal contributed to the kappa number reduction. Ferromagnetic spin order has been realized in the LaCrO3-LaFeO3 superlattices. Ferromagnetic coupling between Fe3+ and Cr3+ through oxygen has long been expected on the basis of Anderson, Goodenough, and Kanamori rules. Despite many studies of Fe-O-Cr-based compounds, random positioning of Fe3+ and Cr3+ ions has frustrated the observation of ferromagnetic properties. The yield-per-recruit (YPR) analysis has been used to assess growth overfishing of exploited fish stocks. Since the ex-vessel
price per weight widely depends on the size of the fish, the result of the YPR does not imply the revenue. The value-per-recruit
(VPR) analysis, which is an economic expansion of the YPR analysis, was conducted for bighand thornyhead Sebastolobus macrochir caught off the Pacific coast of northern Honshu, Japan. The results showed that, for the current age at first capture (t
c = 3), the current fishing mortality (F = 0.12) was close to the optimum level. However, for the current F, optimum t
c in the VPR model was 8 years and would lead to a 47% increase compared to the current revenue. The maximum YPR was obtained

为生产优质果酒,采用单因素结合响应面的方法,以酒体感官评价为指标开展百香果树莓复合果酒的酿造工艺优化研究并测定其多酚含量,之后通过考查复合果酒对DPPH自由基、羟基自由基、超氧阴离子自由基的清除率及其还原力开展百香果树莓复合果酒的体外抗氧化性研究。结果表明:复合果酒的最佳酿造工艺为百香果树莓果浆配比1:2(g·g-1)、初始糖度22.4 Brix、料水比1:1(g·mL-1)、发酵温度19 ℃、发酵时间11 d;与同多酚浓度的Vc相比,此果酒具有更高的羟基自由基和超氧阴离子清除能力,DPPH自由基、羟基自由基、超氧阴离子自由基清除率可达87.8%、66.9%和47.4%,还原力可达29.2%。按照优化的工艺酿造的复合果酒酒度为12.3%(vol),多酚含量为353.9 mg·L-1,呈红宝石色,清澈透明无悬浮物、有典型的百香果和树莓香气、丰满爽口有新鲜感,具有良好的抗氧化性。 相似文献
